The exact number of Allah's names are only know to Allah.... Religious scholars have related that Allah has three thousand Names. One thousand are only knows by angels, 1,000 known only by prophets of Allah, 300 are in the Torah (Old Testament), 300 are in Zabur (Psalms of David), 300 are in the New Testament, and 99 are in the Quran. This makes 2,999. One Name that has been hidden by Allah is Al-ism Al-a'zam, the Greatest Name which contains all the divine attributes.

ALLAH |
|
This is Allah's proper name on which depends the existence and welfare of the entire universe. Allah is Allah's name only. Nothing can assume this name or share it. The name Allah contains five meanings that indicate the non-resemblance of Allah to anything else. They are:
QIDAM: Allah is before the before. Allah did not become. Allah always was.
BAQA: Allah is after the after, eternal. Allah allways will be.
WAHDANIYYAH: Allah is unique, without partner, the cause of all. All is in need of Allah. All became by the order "BE" and has died by Allah's order.
MUKHALAFATUN UL-HAWADITH: Allah is the creator bearing no resemblance to the created.
QIYAM BI-NAFSIHI: Allah is self existent, without any needs.Allah is perfection. The existence of this perfection is infinite. The greatest name of Allah, contains essentials indicating the perfection of Allah:
HAYAH: Allah is ever-living.
'ILM: Allah is all-knowing.
SAM': Allah is all-hearing.
BASAR: Allah is all-seeing.
IRADAH: All will is Allah's.
QUDRAH: All power is Allah's.
TAKWIN: All existence and actions depend on Allah.
KALAM: The word, all that is said and taught is Allah's.Whoever reads this Name of Allah 1,000 times daily, all doubts and uncertainties will be removed from the heart and, instead, determination and faith will become inborn
1. AR-RAHMAAN |

Allah is the one who wills mercy and good for all creation, at all times, without any distinction between the good and the bad, the faithful and the rebel, the beloved and the hated. He pours upon all creation infinite bounties. The proof is in the Quran: wa rahmati wasi'at kulli shay'in -- "My Mercy covers everything" (7:156)
He who repeats this Name 100 times after each farz [obligatory] prayer will have good memory, a keen awareness, and be free of a heavy heart.
2. AR-RAHEEM |

Allah is the source of infinite mercy, blessings and prosperity, who rewards with eternal gifts the one who use Allah's bounties for the good. This is mentioned in the Quran: wa kana bil-mu'minina Rahiman --- "He is compassionate and beneficient [only] to the believers" (33:43)
He who repeats this Name 100 times after each fajr [early morning] prayer will find everyone to be friendly towards him and he will be safe from all worldly calamities.
3. AL-MALIK |

Allah is the owner and ruler of the entire universe, visible and invisible, and of all creation, from before the beginning and after the end.
He who repeats this Name many times every day after the morning prayer, will become rich by the grace of Allah.
4. AL-QUDDUS |

Allah is the most pure one, devoid of all Blemish, Shortcoming, Weakness, Heedlessness and Error.
The hearts of those who repeats this Name 100 times each day will be free from anxiety
5. AS-SALAAM |
|
Allah is the one who frees his servants from all danger and obstruction. Allah is the one who gives his greeting to those fortunate people in heaven.
He who repeats this Name 160 times to a sick person, will help him to regain health. He who this repeats this Name frequently will be safe from all calamities.
6. AL-MU'MIN |
|
He who is free from all error, absentmindedness, is free from incapability and from any kind of defect.
He who repeats this Name 631 times will be safe from harm.
7. AL-MUHAYMIN |
|
He who watches over and protects all things.
He who takes bath and offers two rak'ats of Prayer and repeats this Name 100 times with sincere concentration, Allah will purify his external as well as internal conditions.
8. AL-A'ZEEZ |

The Unconquerable.
He who repeats this Name 41 times after each fajr prayer will be independent of need from others and gain honor after disgrace.
9. AL-JABBAAR |

Allah repairs all broken things, who completes that which is incomplete, and who has the ability, with force, to make people do whatever He wants.
He who repeats this Name will not be compelled to do anything against his wishes, and will not be exposed to violence, severity, or hardness.
10. AL-MUTAKABBIR |

He who shows His greatness in all things and in all ways.
He who repeats this Name frequently will be granted status and respect. If he repeats this Name frequently at the commencement of every act, he will achieve success by the grace of Allah
11. AL-KHAALIQ |

He who creates everything from nothing and creates all things with the knowledge of what will happen to them.
He who repeats this Name 100 times for seven days without break, Allah will create an angel whose duty will be to act righteously for this person until the Day of Judgement. The reward for this angel's actions will be given to that person. If a woman desires to give birth, but cannot, fasts seven days, and each day at the breaking of the fast [iftar] she repeats this Name 21 times, breathes into a glass of water, and then breaks the fast with this water, Allah will bless her with a child.
12. AL-BAARI |

Allah creates all things in proportion. He is the one who orders His creation with perfect harmony - not only each thing within itself, but everything is accordance with everything else. See also the suggestions under Al-Musawwir.

13. AL-MUSAWWIR |

Allah is the one who, without using any model, shapes everything in the most perfect shape. He who designs all things.
If a woman desires to give birth, but cannot, fasts seven days, and each day at the breaking of the fast [iftar] she repeats this Name 21 times, breathes into a glass of water, and then breaks the fast with this water, Allah will bless her with a child.
14. AL-GHAFFAAR |

Allah is all-forgiving. He is the one who accepts repentance and forgives.
He who repeats this Name will be forgiven his sins.
15. AL-QAHHAAR |
|
He who is free from all error, absentmindedness, is free from incapability and from any kind of defect.
The soul of him who repeats this Name will conquer the desires of the flesh, and his heart will be made free from the attractions of the world and gain inner peace. This Name also frees one from being wronged.
16. AL-WAHHAAB |
|
Allah is the donor of all, without conditions, without limits, without asking any benefit or return, giving everything to everyone, everywhere, always. He who donates all blessings to His creatures.
If a person suffering from poverty and starvation repeats this Name frequently or keeps it with him written on a piece of paper or repeats this Name 40 times in the last Sajda of the Salat-ud-Doha prayer, Allah will relieve him of his poverty, want and starvation in a wonderful way.
17. AR-RAZZAAQ |

He who provides all things beneficial to His creation.
He who repeats this Name will be provided with sustenance by Allah.
18. AL-FATTAAH |
|
He who opens the solution to all problems, and eliminates obstacles
This heart of him who repeats this Name will be open, and he will be given victory.
19. AL-A'LEEM |
|
Allah is is all-knowling. He is the one who knows all. He knows what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen from the beginning to the end.
He who repeats this Name, his heart will become luminous, revealing divine light [Nur]
20. AL-QAABID |
|
Allah is the one who constricts. All existence is the power of Allah. The life on this planet is a test for us, but Allah does not test his servants above their ability.
He who writes this Name on 4 pieces of food (friut, bread, etc.) and eats them for 40 days will be free from hunger.
21. AL-BAASIT |
|
Allah is the one who releases abudance, joy, relief and ease after difficulties. These are manifesations of His attributes Al-Baasit. He who is the expander.
He who repeats this Name 10 times after the Salat-ud-Doha prayer with open hands, then rubs his face with his hands, will be free of need from others.
22. AL-KHAAFID |

Allah most high is the one who raises his creation to honor and fame and who can cast them down to be the lowest of the low.
Those who fast 3 days, and on the 4th day repeat this Name 70 times in a gathering, Allah will free them from harm by their enemy. Allah will fulfil the need of one who repeats this Name 500 times daily.
23. AR-RAAFI' |

He who uplifts. Allah most high is the one who raises his creation to honor and fame and who can cast them down to be the lowest of the low.
He who repeats this Name 101 times day and night, Allah will make hi higher, as far as honor, richness and merit are concerned.
24. AL-MU'IZ |
|
He who makes one glorious, gives dignity, and treats one with respect.
He who repeats this Name 140 times after Maghrib prayer on monday or friday nights, Allah will make him dignified in the eyes of others. That person will fear no one but Allah.
25. AL-MUZIL |
|
He who lowers and puts one in abasement and degradation.
He who repeats this Name 75 times will be free from harm by those who are jealous of him and wish to harm him. Allah will protect him.
26. AS-SAMI' |
|
Allah is the one who hears all - that which comes from lips, passes throught the minds, is flt by the hearts, the rustling of leaves in the wind, the footsteps of ants and the atoms moving through the void.
He who repeats this Name 500, 100 or 50 times without speaking to anyone on Thursdays after the Salat-ud-Doha prayer, Allah will bestow on him anything he desires.
27. AL-BASEER |

Allah is the one who is all-seeing. He sees all that has passed, all there is and all there will be until the end of time.
He who repeats this Name 100 times after friday afternoon prayer, Allah will give this person light in his sight and enlighten his heart.
28. AL-HAKAM |
|
Allah is the one who orders. He is the bringer of justice and truth. He judges, and executes His justice and provides what is due.
He who repeats this Name many times at night, many secret will be revealed to him.
29. AL-A'DL |
|
His the absolute justice. Justice secures peace, balance, order and harmony. Allah the just is the enemy of tyrants.
On friday night or day, if you write this Name on a piece of bread and eat it people will obey you.
30. AL-LATEEF |

Allah is the one who knows the delicate meanings of everything. He who creates things most subtly, which cannot be understood by people, and He who gives blessings to people in the most subtle ways.
31. AL-KHABEER |

He who has knowledge of the most secret parts of everything, and knows their inner meanings. He is the one whose cognizance reaches the deepest, darkest, hidden corners of His kingdom, where neither human intelligence nor His angels can penetrate.
32. AL-HALEEM |

Allah is forbearing in the punishment of the guilty. He waits, giving time to the sinner to realize his guilt and ask forgiveness in order that He may forgive him rather than punish him.
33. AL-A'ZEEM |
|
Allah is the greatest on the earth below and in the heavens above, in realms where our sight cannot reach and of which our minds cannot concieve. He is the absolute and perfect greatness.
34. AL-GHAFUR |
|
Allah is the most forgiving one. He veils our faults from the eyes of other men, from the angels and relieves us from the suffering of continual remembrance of our faults.
35. ASH-SHAKUR |
|
He who is grateful and gives rewards for deeds done for Him.
36. AL-A'LI |
|
Allah is the highest one. He is higher thatn the whole of the created universe. His nearness and farness and His being high cannot be measured by the limits of human intellect.
37. AL-KABEER |
|
All is the greatest, whose greatness stretches from before the beginning until after the end. There is no difference for Him between the creation of an atom and the infinite - seeming universe. This is His greandeur as much as we can understand it. His is greater than that.
38. AL-HAFEEZ |
|
He who preserves all things in detail, and for a time preserves them from misfortune and calamity.
39. AL-MUQEET |
|
Allah is the nourisher of all creation. Allah creates the nourishment of each of His creatures before He creates them. No one can take away the nourishment destined for each element of the creation.
40. AL-HASEEB |
|
He who knows in detail the account of things people do throughout their lives.
41. AL-JALEEL |
|
He who has wealth, dominion and holiness.
42. AL-KAREEM |
|
He who is generous.

He who observes all creatures, and every action is under His control.

He One who responds to every need.

Allah is the satisfier of all needs, all is in need of Him. He is the sole-recourse; the only place of support where one may go to rid oneself of all trouble and to receive all that one needs through the blessings of this name.
69. AL-QAADIR |

Allah is all-powerful who does what He wills the way He wills. He created the universe by Himself, from nothing, with neither materials nor model. He said "BE" and it bacame.
70. AL-MUQTADIR |
|
Allah is the one who creates all power and has total control over all power. Allah bestows power upon things on earth and in heaven, and uses them in accordance with His all-pervasive wisdom and will.
71. AL-MUQADDIM |
|
Allah brings forward whomever He wills. Allah advances the chosen among His creation, bringing some above and ahead of others.
72. AL-MUAKHKHIR |
|
Allah is He who leaves whomever He wills behind, and delays advancement.
73. AL-AWWAL |
|
Allah is the first. There is none like Him. His firstness means that there is none prior to Him, that He is self-existenet, that all comes from Him and that He is the cause of all that became.
74. AL-AAKHIR |
|
Allah is the last. As He has no beginning, He has no end. He is eternal. He is the last in the sense that the circle of existence begins and ends with Him.
75. AZ-ZAHIR |
|
Allah is the manifest one. Allah most high is hidden from those who seek to see by means of their senses, but He is apparent to those who seek to know Him by the wisdom and reason that Allah has bestowed upon them.
76. AL-BATIN |
|
Allah is the hidden one. His existence is both manifest and hidden. To truly know the creator is not possible because the knowledge, the mind, the understanding of the created one are limited.
77. AL-WAALI |
|
Allah is the sole manager and governor of the whole creation. Allah directs, manages, conducts, governs, measures, plans every action which happens at any moment in the entire universe.
78. AL-MUTA'ALI |
|
Allah is the supreme one. His greatness grows. As He gives from His inexhaustible treasures, His riches increase. As the needs of His creation increase, His bounties increase.
79. AL-BARR |
|
Allah is the perfect doer of good. All good and bounty come from Him. He loves for His servants only good, confort and ease.
80. AT-TAWWAB |
|
Allah is He who constantly turns man to repentance.
81. AL-MUNTAQIM |
|
Allah is the great avenger. Allah punishes those who persist in revolting, raving in their unconsciousness and egotism, creating disharmony, tyrannizing Allah's servants and creation.
82. AL-AFUW |
|
Allah is the forgiver, the eliminator of sins. He does not often punish the ones who deny, the ones who revolt. He accepts their recognition of their sins as repentance. He pardons all who repent sincerely as if they had no previous sins.
83. AR-RAUF |
|
Allah is all clement. In spite of His ability to see our sins, of His being just, of His being able to punish, the fact that He chooses to forgive proves His infinite mercy and clemency.
84.AL-MALIK-UL-MULK |
|
Allah is the eternal owner of His kingdom. He shares neither the ownership nor the power, government or guardianship of the universe with anyone.
85. ZUL-JALAL-E |
|
Allah is the Lord of Majesty and bounty. There is no perfection that does not belong to Him nor any blessing or honor that comes from other than Him. Allah is the owner of all majesty.
86. AL-MUQSIT |
|
Allah is the one who acts and distributes in justice and fairness. How harmonious and balanced is the creation: all the beauties in heaven and earth - mountains, seas, sunsets, flowers - and also the eyes to see.
87. AL-JAME' |

Allah is the gatherer of whatever He wishes, whereever He wishes. Allah has gathered together within this universe spaces, galaxies-stars, earths, seas, plants and animals, things whose nature, size, shape and colour are different.
88. AL-GHANI |

Allah is the rich one who is self-sufficient. His essence and attributes have no relationship to anything else. Someone whose existence and perfection depend on another needs to earn that existence. Only Allah needs not, neither does He need to earn.
89. AL-MUGHNI |

Allah is the enricher. He renders whomever He wishes rich and whomever He wishes poor.
90. AL-MANI |

Allah is the one who averts harm from His creation.
91. AD-DARR |
|
Allah is the creator of the harmful and evil as He is the creator of the good and beneficial. He has also taught us to opt for the good and escape the evil. He has given us the power of discrimination, given us a will and freedom to choose.
92. AN-NAFI |
|
Allah is the creator of good. Allah has created man as the best of His creation and He has bestowed upon him gifts which render him unique and superior to the rest of creation.
93. AN-NUR |
|
Allah is the light that is shed upon the whole creation, making it apparent. That light is the light that brought existence out of the darkness or non-existence.
94. AL-HADI |
|
Allah is the one who creates guidance, leading His servants to good, benificence and the satisfaction of their needs.
95. AL-BADI |

Allah is the Originator of the creation, having created it without model or material. He does not need previous knowledge to think, to first investigate, to figure things out. Everything He creates is a wonder since He originated it from nothing.
96. AL-BAQI |
|
Allah is the everlasting one whose existence in the future is forever. He has neither beginning nor end. The creation will end, and time with it. But Allah the everlasting one will still exist.
97. AL-WAARIS |
|
Allah is the ultimate inheritor, to whom everything is left after its temporal possessors are gone. It is He who exists after all existence disappears, it is He to whom all existence returns.
98. AR-RASHID |
|
Allah is the righteous teacher who ordains righteousness for all creatures. In his wisdom He leads all matters to their finalty in a perfect way and order.
99. AS-SABUR |
|
Allah is the most patient one. In His creation as is His actions, in His dealings with His creation, nothing is either bigger or smaller, better or worse, earlier or later than it is determined for it to be.
